The Jury of the 29th International URTI Radio Grand Prix met in Brussels (Belgium), at the kind invitation of the RTBF, on November 30th and December 1st 2017 to draw up the prize list of this year on the theme of “REBORN AFTER…” with 23 countries in competition.

 

Grand Prix: REBORN AFTER HELL

Romanian Radio, Romania

 

  • Silver Medal: NYOS: LA RENAISSANCE EN MARCHE

            Directed by Pouth Pouth Serge Bertrand

            Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV), Cameroon

 

  • Bronze Medal: MES ANNÉES BOUM, UNE ENQUÊTE ALGÉRIENNE

            A radio series written and produced by Adila Bennedjaï-Zou

            Directed by Marie Plaçais and Emmanuel Geoffroy

            Radio France, France Culture, France

 

  • Jacques Matthey-Doret Award for Discovery: THE REBIRTH OF RIVER VARATTAR

            Directed by Leelamma Mathew

            All India Radio, India

 

In 2017, the winner of the Radio GRAND PRIX will get a 500 dollar reward.
